We all have our favourite cities in the US and I am delighted to have one move into my own personal top choices list - Philadelphia! If it isn’t on your radar already - it should be!!

Located on the East Coast of the USA, it is perfectly situated at the beginning or end of one of our brilliant Road trips, or just for a great few days away on a city break. 

Philadelphia has so much to offer - amazing craft breweries, fabulous restaurants and endless stores for tax free shopping. Some really stunning hotels too - The Sofitel & Kimpton Palomar, located close to Rittenhouse square are ideal for exploring the area and giving the extra bit of luxury and comfort while you’re there.  

No trip to Philadelphia would be complete without some great sightseeing and what better way than The Philadelphia Sightseeing Bus Tour. Taking about 1.5 hours to see all the main sights, and of course you can hop on and hop off as you please. Try out an Urban Adventures “Philly on Tap” tour where you get to sample the fabulous craft breweries and get the history along the way. Eastern State Penitentiary is one of the top places to visit in Philadelphia, located just a few min walk from the famous Rocky Steps, it’s well worth taking a few hours for a guided personal or audio tour. Finish it off with a visit to the top of One Liberty Observation Deck and look at the beautiful Philadelphia views. 

So Philly has it all - great hotels, amazing food, tax free shopping, craft breweries, wonderful history and all round a great fun town to hang out in! When will you go??!
