Days 1/2/3

Boston , ( Massachusetts )

Start your adventure in The “Athens of America” its yours to discover: explore the Freedom Trail, ride the Swanboats, shop at Quincy Market, take a whale watch cruise. Museums, shops, art galleries complete your visit

Days 4/5

Boston- White Mountains ( New Hampshire ) Via Salem and Mid Coast Maine (180 Miles)

Take the short drive to the Witch Capital of America, Salem . Travel further up the Maine coast, and stop for lunch in Kennebunkport for of course, lobster! Head west and spend the evening in the White Mountains, drive to the summit of Mount Washington , shop, visit the “Old Man of the Mountain” rock formation. Take the Conway Scenic Railroad, or head to the Lakes Region. 

Days 5/6

White Mountains- Green Mountains ( Vermont ) (170 Miles)

Travel south to glimpse Lake Winnipesaukee or Lake Squam . Travel to Rutland , once centre of the Vermont marble industry.  

Day 7/8

Green Mountains- Sturbridge and the Connecticut River Valley (188 miles)

Manchester Village is a lovely stop on your way to the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts and is perfect for great factory outlet shopping. Visit the Francine Clarke Art Institute or the Hancock Shaker Village , a restored 19th century settlement. Continue to Lenox, summer home of the Boston Symphony, and Stockbridge, once home to Norman Rockwell, one of America 's greatest artists. The Norman Rockwell Museum houses many of his worksSpend the evening in Sturbridge and visit Old Sturbridge Village , a living 19th century museum.

Days 9/10

Sturbridge - Newport ( Rhode Island ) (85 Miles)

Before heading to Newport , you may visit Mystic, Connecticut , and Mystic Seaport Museum , America 's largest maritime museum. Continue to Newport , summer resort of America 's first millionaires. Spend the day on a spectacular beach, tour the Cliff Walk and Ten Mile Drive with its extravagant summer mansions. Newport 's restored waterfront sports many shops and restaurants.

Days 11/12

Newport - Cape Cod ( Massachusetts ) (75 miles)

Travel to Cape Cod , a fabulous summer resort with white sandy beaches, and abundant

attractions. Plan a whale watch cruise, visit historic Chatham or colorful, artistic Provincetown , or take a day trip to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket .

Day 13/14

Cape Cod - Boston , Massachusetts (75 miles)

En route to Boston , visit Sandwich, the Cape's oldest town, or Plymouth , where the Plymouth

Plantation living museum depicts life in 1627. Your trip ends at Boston .
