The Caledonia Golf Resort and Spa was opened in 2004. It is situated in the New “Golden Mile”, surrounded by magnificent golf courses, only at 15 minute drive from one of the best beaches of Estepona and with wonderful views over the Mediterranean ocean, Gibraltar and the African coast. The hotel is 70km from Malaga airport. Gibraltar is 50km away. Puerto Banús is 7 Km from the hotel, the centre of Marbella is 12km away, while Estepona's is only 9km away. Nearest beach is 12km from the hotel.
Accommodation
This unit has a total of 301 rooms and five lifts. All rooms have terrace or balcony, individual air conditioning and heating, satellite TV, safe deposit box (on request & at local charge), direct dial telephone and bathroom with hair dryer.
Dining
The Caledonia Golf has tworestaurants. These are the “ Caledonia ” buffet style and the Pool Restaurant which serves as a snack bar restaurant (open only when the weather is good in summer). All restaurants have wide terraces. The bars, where you can enjoy a drink or refreshment, are also three. They are the reception lobby bar, the swimming pool bar and a music bar with live music in an area of approximately 800sq.m. Please note that the swimming pool bar operates only during the summer season.
Ameneties
Hotel provides a gym (11:00-20:00) free of charge, whereas massage and beauty treaments are to be paid separately. The spa / gymnasium is fully equipped with individual reception, indoor dynamic swimming pool with pressure jets and cascades, sauna, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, ice cabin, Scottish shower and contrast showers. The Spa is free of charge and requires booking (one hour per apartment and day). Starting summer 2005 gym, aerobics, massages and beauty treatments are also available. There is an outdoor 560sq.m swimming pool, as well as an indoor heated swimming pool, a gymnasium and aerobics. Please note that for swimming pool towels a deposit is required. The tennis club “Bel Air” is at 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel (extra charge applies). Guests can, at an additional cost, inquire about reservations and discounts in all of the golf courses at the golf desk.
The animation team organizes different activities during daytime and different shows in the evening, including a flamenco show. A mini club is open all year round for children from 4 to 12 years with entertainment programs and animation. The Miniclub has a children's playground, children's pool and indoor games room (10.00-13.00 & 15.00 - 17.00).
This unit provides its guests with parking areas of 70 underground parking spaces and 34 exterior car parks (at a charge, payment at the reception). There is also the “commercial area” where starting summer 2005 you can find a bazaar with news papers and souvenirs. The Aparthotel grants you access to a meeting room able to accommodate 35 to 200 people. All Inclusive Food & Drinks
The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (13:00-15:00) and dinner (W: 19:00-22:00, S: 19:30-22:30), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. Theme dinner is available twice a week (summer season). During meals water, soft drinks, draft beer and house wine are offered. Cold snacks between 11:30 & 12:30 as well as tea time with coffee, tea, milk, pastries & cakes from 16:30-18:00 are available at the lobby bar (winter) or the snack bar by the pool (summer). Snacks are also served at the music bar from 22:00-23:00. AI drinks include house drinks, soft drinks, draft beer and local drinks and they are available at the lobby bar (W: 11:00-18:00, S: 10:30-22:00), the music bar (18:00-23:00), the snack restaurant (13:00-16:00) and at the snack bar (12:00-16:30, summer season).
